This music video was my first work with the paper-cut technique I use in animation. Only a small portion was animation, much of the movement was done mechanically. Special effects where the performers are integrated into the paper miniatures were done in-camera using the Shufftan technique developed for the 1927 Fritz Lang film Metropolis.
